Galveston trip.

The boys and I spent a few days in Galveston. We went to the beach, went to Schlitterbahn, played at the pool, and the boys had a fabulous time with their cousins.

Big boy!

He's such a big boy. At 32 months he is potty trained! Scott is also talking like crazy, and very well. My favorite is, "Whatcha doing?" He is a sweet boy and loves to give hugs and kisses...and can throw one heck of a temper tantrum! We love our Scotty boy!

Texas Independence Relay

Patrick and I (along with 10 other teachers) completed a 200 mile relay from Gonzales to the San Jacinto Monument. It was so much fun, and so exhausting!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Scott!

We celebrated small this year...dinner out, and family over. Scott is turning into a little boy before our eyes. He's talking like crazy! He eats constantly. He has a split personality...he can be happy one second, and throwing a full on tantrum the next. He's so sweet and such an affectionate child.

Soccer!

Will had his first game this morning, and loved it! He even scored a goal. I definitely think soccer is a good sport for Will...it keeps him moving, which is exactly what he needs!

First day of kindergarten!

I can't believe Will is in kindergarten...
He's adjusting well, and loves school. He is in a dual language program which is perfect for his busy personality. We are both loving going to school together every day!

Beach Life!

We made a trip to Crystal beach, and everyone had a blast! The boys loved the beach! We will definitely be going back. Scott played in the sand for hours, and loved floating in the waves.  Will played in the water, got buried in the sand, and covered Mommy in mud! Such a fun day!

Big boy bed

Scott made the decision he was done sleeping in a crib...so we took it down.  I was so sad, because that means babies in this house are no more.  The first night was rough.  He came out so many times!  We put a gate up eventually and he went to sleep.  Night 2:  he kept opening the door and trying to come out. He knocked the gate over a few times.....SO I locked him in.  We used the Ferber method (same method we originallly sleep trained him by) and went in every so many minutes. All we would say is, "It is night night time, love you." and put him back in bed.  It only took 3 times and he went to sleep!  I am hoping each night gets easier!

He is also going teetee in the potty. Not all the time, but a lot.  Totally his decision, but I am proud. He potties and says, "Job!"  which is what we say ... "Good job!" This baby is growing up too fast!

Trip to New Braunfels & San Antonio

We took a little mini vacation to New Braunfels...the boys had a great time! We played in the river one day, and went to Gruene that evening. The next morning we got up and headed to SeaWorld. It was a very fun filled day. Rides, shows, and lots of laughing. Scott as in awe of the Elmo Rocks show, it as like h was meeting his favorite celebrity. I love watching my boys have fun! Will rode several rides, and had an absolute blast. Our trip in pictures:
