Polar Express

We went to the Polar Express in Palestine the day after Thanksgiving. Our elf, Coco, sent us an address and told us to go! We ended up at Polar Express with Annie and Miler! Their elf, Snowflake, sent them as well! It was great. We boarded the train, had cookies and hot chocolate, saw the North Pole and Santa boarded the train! Each child got a bell and Santa stopped and talked to each of them. Such a great experience!

He tried to burn the house down tonight after putting his headdress in the fire...then taking it out and putting the burning paper out with the carpet. This boy...like I always say, thank goodness he's cute! He's a wonderful mix of all of mine and Patrick's mischievous qualities!

80's Day!

This week is Red Ribbon Week and one of our themes was 80s.  Will is wearing one of his Daddy's shirts from the 80s...with General Lee on it!

Awanas Bible Hero Dress Up

Will chose to be Joshua after hearing the story of Jericho. I just love how excited he gets for Sunday!  

First Grade

Will is in dual language again this year and so far is loving it! He's a sweet, smart little boy and we could not be more proud. He's reading above grade level, which of course makes me happy. He has the kindest, most loving heart ever for a little boy. He's playing fall ball and is enjoying it. He's also very involved at church, and has such a heart for God. We're very proud!

Scotty turns 3!

Scott has turned into a little boy before our eyes. He's loving school and is speaking so well. His vocabulary is growing as fast as he is. He's still as wild as he's always been! We are blessed beyond words that God chose us to be this special boys parents. He loves his brother so much and wants to share everything with him. At his 3 year check up the doctor was very happy with how he's developing.

River trip

Galveston trip.

The boys and I spent a few days in Galveston. We went to the beach, went to Schlitterbahn, played at the pool, and the boys had a fabulous time with their cousins.

Big boy!

He's such a big boy. At 32 months he is potty trained! Scott is also talking like crazy, and very well. My favorite is, "Whatcha doing?" He is a sweet boy and loves to give hugs and kisses...and can throw one heck of a temper tantrum! We love our Scotty boy!

Texas Independence Relay

Patrick and I (along with 10 other teachers) completed a 200 mile relay from Gonzales to the San Jacinto Monument. It was so much fun, and so exhausting!
