Scott made the decision he was done sleeping in a crib...so we took it down. I was so sad, because that means babies in this house are no more. The first night was rough. He came out so many times! We put a gate up eventually and he went to sleep. Night 2: he kept opening the door and trying to come out. He knocked the gate over a few times.....SO I locked him in. We used the Ferber method (same method we originallly sleep trained him by) and went in every so many minutes. All we would say is, "It is night night time, love you." and put him back in bed. It only took 3 times and he went to sleep! I am hoping each night gets easier!
He is also going teetee in the potty. Not all the time, but a lot. Totally his decision, but I am proud. He potties and says, "Job!" which is what we say ... "Good job!" This baby is growing up too fast!

Trip to New Braunfels & San Antonio
We took a little mini vacation to New Braunfels...the boys had a great time! We played in the river one day, and went to Gruene that evening. The next morning we got up and headed to SeaWorld. It was a very fun filled day. Rides, shows, and lots of laughing. Scott as in awe of the Elmo Rocks show, it as like h was meeting his favorite celebrity. I love watching my boys have fun! Will rode several rides, and had an absolute blast. Our trip in pictures:

Visit to Blue Bell
We took the boys to tour Blue Bell Creameries. Will really enjoyed it! He was in awe of the machines! Scott wanted to run around...but that's pretty typical Scott behavior. We enjoyed some ice cream at the end of our tour, of course the boys favorite part.
After that we headed to the Brenham airport to eat at the diner located there. It is a 50's style diner, and the food was great. As we were leaving a plane was taxiing down the runway and we got to watch it take off. A very fun day!

Summer....
Summer is flying by! Will is turning into a little swimmer...he is swimming across the pool all by himself, and Daddy is even impressed with his freestyle! He is also becoming such a big boy. He is so good with his brother. He loves Scott so much. He is reading like crazy, writing words I had no idea he could spell, and sending me text messages from his Daddy's phone. He is READY to start Kindergarten! Mommy is pretty excited too, because we get to be at the same school. I finally got into Montgomery...
Scott. What can I say? We no longer have a baby in our house. He is a little boy who talks, pretends, colors, plays, and demands Blue's Clues or Elmo on "teebee" multiple time a day. He has so much personality for a 23 month old! I am amazed at his ability to play...not sure if it is because he has an older sibling, or has been in daycare, but the kid can pretend right along with his big brother. Speaking of which, he idolizes Will. When Will gets sent to time-out, he follows him. If Will cries, Scott cries. He is constantly looking for his Bubba, or screaming for, "Wooll!" I love that my boys adore each other!!
We are certainly blessed with two precious, loving little boys!
