Will made the Conroe Courier! MES is a National Blue Ribbon School, so Blue Bell came and served ice cream to each student. This picture was in the paper the next day!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Scott!
We celebrated small this year...dinner out, and family over. Scott is turning into a little boy before our eyes. He's talking like crazy! He eats constantly. He has a split personality...he can be happy one second, and throwing a full on tantrum the next. He's so sweet and such an affectionate child.
Soccer!
Will had his first game this morning, and loved it! He even scored a goal. I definitely think soccer is a good sport for Will...it keeps him moving, which is exactly what he needs!
First day of kindergarten!
I can't believe Will is in kindergarten...
He's adjusting well, and loves school. He is in a dual language program which is perfect for his busy personality. We are both loving going to school together every day!

Beach Life!
We made a trip to Crystal beach, and everyone had a blast! The boys loved the beach! We will definitely be going back. Scott played in the sand for hours, and loved floating in the waves. Will played in the water, got buried in the sand, and covered Mommy in mud! Such a fun day!

Big boy bed
Scott made the decision he was done sleeping in a crib...so we took it down. I was so sad, because that means babies in this house are no more. The first night was rough. He came out so many times! We put a gate up eventually and he went to sleep. Night 2: he kept opening the door and trying to come out. He knocked the gate over a few times.....SO I locked him in. We used the Ferber method (same method we originallly sleep trained him by) and went in every so many minutes. All we would say is, "It is night night time, love you." and put him back in bed. It only took 3 times and he went to sleep! I am hoping each night gets easier!
He is also going teetee in the potty. Not all the time, but a lot. Totally his decision, but I am proud. He potties and says, "Job!" which is what we say ... "Good job!" This baby is growing up too fast!

Trip to New Braunfels & San Antonio
We took a little mini vacation to New Braunfels...the boys had a great time! We played in the river one day, and went to Gruene that evening. The next morning we got up and headed to SeaWorld. It was a very fun filled day. Rides, shows, and lots of laughing. Scott as in awe of the Elmo Rocks show, it as like h was meeting his favorite celebrity. I love watching my boys have fun! Will rode several rides, and had an absolute blast. Our trip in pictures:

Visit to Blue Bell
We took the boys to tour Blue Bell Creameries. Will really enjoyed it! He was in awe of the machines! Scott wanted to run around...but that's pretty typical Scott behavior. We enjoyed some ice cream at the end of our tour, of course the boys favorite part.
After that we headed to the Brenham airport to eat at the diner located there. It is a 50's style diner, and the food was great. As we were leaving a plane was taxiing down the runway and we got to watch it take off. A very fun day!

Summer....
Summer is flying by! Will is turning into a little swimmer...he is swimming across the pool all by himself, and Daddy is even impressed with his freestyle! He is also becoming such a big boy. He is so good with his brother. He loves Scott so much. He is reading like crazy, writing words I had no idea he could spell, and sending me text messages from his Daddy's phone. He is READY to start Kindergarten! Mommy is pretty excited too, because we get to be at the same school. I finally got into Montgomery...
Scott. What can I say? We no longer have a baby in our house. He is a little boy who talks, pretends, colors, plays, and demands Blue's Clues or Elmo on "teebee" multiple time a day. He has so much personality for a 23 month old! I am amazed at his ability to play...not sure if it is because he has an older sibling, or has been in daycare, but the kid can pretend right along with his big brother. Speaking of which, he idolizes Will. When Will gets sent to time-out, he follows him. If Will cries, Scott cries. He is constantly looking for his Bubba, or screaming for, "Wooll!" I love that my boys adore each other!!
We are certainly blessed with two precious, loving little boys!

Talking!!
This is what Scott is doing these days...nonstop! Sometimes we understand him, other times it is his own language. Either way, he is communicating with us so much. He can repeat pretty much anything. Some funny things he says:
Lolo for water
malala for banana
He is currently obsessed with Blue's Clues and wants to watch it all the time. He walks around asking for "Boos?"
I cannot believe that he will be two in just two months. I miss my baby, but am totally enjoying watching him turn into a little boy. He is strong willed and knows what he wants most of the time.

Scott Update - 21 Months
I have not been so good about giving Scott updates...he is just getting so big! He is talking like crazy, running everywhere he goes, and has become much more pleasant in general.
His favorite things right now:
lawnmowers - which he says perfectly
Mickey Mouse - Mick Mouse in his words
Elmo - Melmo
flip-flops - bip bops, and he points and says it over and over
Black olives - bobivs
Blankets - binkbit
Brown Bear, Brown Bear book - he wants us to read constantly!
Talking on the phone, especially face time
He has so many words ... he can pretty much say everyone in our extended family's name. He LOVES Rocco, and calls him "Meow" most of the time. He still adores his brother, and wants to do anything Will does. He is starting to eat a little better, and not being quite as picky. He does still love yogurt, milk, and fruit snacks. He also loves to talk about his little friends at school. Phoebe, Mya and Drew are the topic of conversation quite often in our house. He is turning into a little guy...his second birthday is just around the corner! I wish time would slow down!!
