Pre-K Graduation

Will had his Pre-K graduation last Friday.  The teachers stood up and talked about each child as they presented them with their certificate and bible.  Each child was assigned a word that described them...Will's word was affectionate. I cannot think of a better word to describe him! The last 5 years have just flown by...and I know it is not going to slow down any time soon. We love our affectionate, loving, wild little boy!! God blessed us when he gave us Will!

Daddy is an IRONMAN!

We are so proud of Patrick. For the second year in a row, he competed in IronMan Texas. An IronMan consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, and a 26.2 mile run...all in one day. He finshed this year in just under 11 hours, which is just amazing. He trained so hard, and it all paid off! Go Daddy! We love you and are very proud of you!!

This is what a mass start looks like. MASS CHAOS!

Coming in from the bike. He was smiling and waved at us!

On the very hot 26.2 mile run.

I decided to run with him for a short distance. Even 15 miles into the marathon, he is faster than me!

Yes, he is an IronMan! Again!

He made the Conroe Courier newpaper and website: http://www.yourhoustonnews.com/courier/news/volunteers-prove-vital-to-ironman/article_fbbbf16c-64be-5c65-ae7b-e0ba6a81c736.html

The boys at the hotel on Friday. They loved our little mini vacation to The Woodlands...I think kids just love hotels!  I cannot believe how big my children are!

Busy days...

The boys at home after a long day out and about!

It seems lately we rarely slow down...t-ball season is over, so we will have a little more time in the evenings now.  Patrick is doing his second IronMan this coming Saturday so his training will be coming to an end as well.  I am ready for summer and family time.
The boys are both getting so big. Scott is talking constantly!  He also seems to finally be becoming a little more content with life in general. Will is just such a big boy. He has Pre-K graduation this week, and is registered for Kindergarten in the fall!  Where have the last 5 1/2 years gone?!  We are trying to just enjoy every second of watching our boys grow.  They really love each other and play pretty well together. I don't think it'll be too long before Scott is as big as his big brother!

EASTER!

We spent a very fun day at my parents with family and friends. All the kids hunted eggs, and played in the bouncy house/slide all afternoon. We had some super tired kiddoes at the end of the day! YaYa and Pa made the day great for everyone involved, espeically the little ones!

Texas Independence Relay

This past weekend, March 31-April 1 I participated in a relay along the Texas Independence Trail. We started at 6:42 Saturday morning, and ran as a relay team continuously until Sunday around 2:30. We began outside of Bastrop in Paige, TX and finished at the San Jacinto Monument. The relay was 201.92 miles, and I ran approximately 16 miles throughout the weekend. It was an amazing experience...it was an exhausting experience! Here are some pictures, in absolutely no order!
