Helping Daddy take out the trash

As we were winding down last night (obviously right before bath time for Will), I took the trash bag out of the trash can for Patrick to take out ... Will has apparently seen us do this a few times! He drug it all the way through the kitchen, down the hall and to the door out to the garage! Our little man!

Will starts "school" tomorrow as I go back to work ... please keep us all in your prayers (this is a very difficult transition ~ for Mommy!)

Mommy's "ot"

or something sounding like that ... it is definitely hat in Will's language, but does not quite sound like it! I wear my hats on the weekends when we run errands (and I don't feel like fixing my hair! haha!) Will LOVES hats! He goes into Pa's closet and tries to take his hats, he goes and finds Poppy's hats and wants to wear them, he takes PawPaw's hat and tries to put it on ... he LOVES hats!!!!!!!!!! So, he found mine today after I took it off, and this is what he did (he also likes to cover his face and run ... scary!)

Eating with a fork

Mr. Independent pretty much does not want anyone to feed him anymore. So, what we end up with is a MESS! And of course Riley hangs around the high chair while Will eats to see what he can pick up off the floor ... lovely!

Napping with Mommy

The day Tropical Storm Eduard rolled in the whole family was home for the rain .... Patrick managed to sneak a picture of Will napping with Mommy!

Our Little Climber ....

So ... when Will is in his playroom playing it is great; I can be productive. He will read his books, play with ALL of his toys (or take them out and leave them strewn about the room),and turn on the TV and pretend to watch it (since he changes the channels and it was on HGTV when I walked in the other day!)However I have quickly learned when it gets quiet, and every few seconds I hear something drop onto the floor I go in and find this...

Nice, huh? Any Moms of climbers out there who can help us out with this one?????

Will's playdate with the Shipley twins

The Shipley twins are the children of my college roommate, Lauren. They are a few weeks older than Will, and they all played so great together! I don't know why it took Lauren & I so long to get them together!!

Will, Caden & Brroke still warming up to each other ... and all wanting to go play with Riley (who was in his bed)!

Sweet Brooke

Caden was riding the truck and Will just went and hopped on with him!

The Silly Faces of Will

I am so enjoying my last weeks of summer home with Will ... I think this year will be just as hard as last year to back, if not harder (me starting at a new school and Will starting school himself). I have been capturing all of his silly faces in pictures, or the one silly face he now makes when I pull out the camera! He is one goofy boy, and we sure do LOVE it! He makes everything we do a little more fun!

Will & his baby cousin, Miler

Amy & I decided to have the boys pictures taken together while we were both still of for the summer .... it was quite the experience! The photographer was not great, and she had no idea what to do with a child who wanted to run all over the place (Will) and a baby who lays and does nothing (Miler). So here is the result:

Our weekend at home...

While we were just hanging around the house this weekend I got a few cute pictures of Will. He literally went into his playroom, climbed onto the couch and sat and watched Disney Channel for about 10 minutes .... Parick & I were in shock! The others are just him hanging out!

Hard to see but I did not want to interrupt him!

Body Parts!

18 Months

Well, can you believe that our little guy is 18 Months??? We had his appointment with Dr. Taylor last Friday and it went okay ... Will is so active it was hard to get him to do anything and he did NOT LIKE the nurse at all! He did beautifully for Dr. Taylor with his examination, and she said he is right on track! He is jus under 32 inches, and just under 24 lbs (yes, he is only in the 10th %tile - our skinny boy!) He is talking LIKE CRAZY! Seriously, he says so much and is constantly trying to communicate. Being home with him is great, I am able to see how he is constantly learning new things...

Our big 18 month old getting ready to go see Dr. Taylor! He LOVES his "nasses" his word for glasses! I was finally able to get him to keep them on long enough for a picture!

Will & Malley

The Novosad's came over to our house last night for dinner, and the kids played so good together! Malley is getting so big and is so close to walking (she is almost 1)! Will just wanted to love on her all night...it was pretty cute! Here are some pictures of our sweet babies!

Just hanging out ~ still warming up to each other!

Will playing...in his playroom!

I absolutely LOVE the fact that we have a place for Will to play (and it is not in his bedroom in the back of the house). I knew I was going to like him having his own room to play in and keep his toys, but I had no idea he would actually go in there ALONE and keep himself enterained ... but take a look! He is such a big boy!

4th of July!

4th of July was a great day! We had ALL of our family here! Uncle Robert, Aunt Kelley, Jacob, Emalee, and PawPaw & Namaw all came up! We started the day with the parade here in Bentwater ... Will got to ride in the wagon while YaYa pulled him for a bit, and then Daddy took over (and Mommy and YaYa rode in the golf cart), AND Pa actually took the day off from golfing to be in the parade with us!!
That afternoon we all headed over to YaYa and Pa's (and Uncle Josh, Aunt Amy & Miler were there, too!) for some food and fireworks. Will was not too crazy about the fireworks this year ... they started and all he could say was, "All done, all done, boom, boom!" So we ended up in the house ... and he stayed up until 10:00 that night! It was a BIG day for our little guy!

Getting ready for the parade!
