Our weekend away ...

This weekend we headed to Canyon Lake for a family getaway. We enjoyed having some time to ourselves (and giving my parents their house back for the weekend - hopefully we will have some good house news SOON!)It was also nice to have some time to relax, of course only when Will took his naps! Most of our weekend was spent just hanging out and enjoying watching the deer off the back porch, and watching Will run around ... he is a very busy boy these days!

Our drive there ... sunglasses in one had, his pretzel in the other!

Getting ready for the pool ...

He LOVES the water!

There were deer everywhere.

Our sleepyhead on Saturday morning, isn't he adorable?

Will really enjoed climbing in and out of the open space on this table ... it kept him entertained for quite a while!

Enjoying his ham sandwich on the ride home.

Being Will is tough!

Talking up a storm!

Our little guy has SO much to say these days ... his favorite word is some. He points to everything and says some, it is too cute.

Now that we make our long drive through the country a couple times a week he also knows what cows say, he will "Moo!" if I point and ask him.

This weekend he started saying all done. He had a runny nose/cough, and started wheezing last week so Dr. Taylor has him doing breathing treatments right now. When we finish and turn off the machine he very proudly says, "All done!"

He has also mastered everyone's name in the house - of course Momma & Daddin (not Daddy!), my mom is YaYa, and every time he sees my Dad, he says, "Hi Pa!"
Nonnie has turned into Nonna, and Poppy is Pop.

We are amazed at all he is saying ... everyday it is something new!

Bluebonnets!

One of the great things about living in the "country" (as Patrick likes to call Montgomery!) The beautiful bluebonnets...

I promise he did not pick any!!

Update

Well we are officially living out of suitcases and boxes ... and patiently waiting to close on our house. Please pray for us that everything works out, this home selling and buying process is much more stressful than we could have ever imagined!

Here is a picture from Amy's shower in Lufkin that Will, Mom, Nonnie and I went to last weekend (in the midst of the move!) Needless to say we had a CRAZY weekend. We are hoping to get settled into my parents this weekend as we wait on word from the next house....

I promise to post some more recent pictures of Will SOON!

Baby Boy

So, Will officially likes to watch TV (not for long) ... sometimes it is a good thing - like when I can get stuff done around the house, and other times it worries us! But, nonetheless we had to share these adorable pictures of our boy! We cannot believe what a big boy he is!

Time with Aunt Amy (and Uncle Josh)!

This weekend I hosted (along with my aunts) a shower at my house for Amy ... Miler is due at the end of May, and we all cannot wait for his arrival! Josh & Amy came Friday night and stayed with us, and Will LOVED the attention from his aunt and uncle. He stayed up until almost 9:00!! Anyone who knows me, knows that is a big deal!
Saturday, Will was ready for his aunt and uncle to wake up so he could play. Then we got ready for the day, and celebrated Miler joining the world soon ... Will is going to have so much fun playing with his new cousin!! Here are some pictures from the weekend:

Now, back to packing ... we close on this house a week from Monday! I had not packed a thing until today! Wish us luck....

Easter

Will celebrated 2 Easters this year ... first with the Williams family on Saturday. He got to start the day being in the Pet Parade with YaYa & Pa's dogs, Lily & Tucker and Aunt Amy's dog, Echo - next year Riley will get to be in it too!! Then later that day he got to see the Easter Bunny, play with animals (more ducks!) in the petting zoo and do an Easter egg hunt with other kiddoes his age. A whole day full of fun - and we were all exhausted from it! Will was out before we even got out of my parents neighborhood.

On Sunday (after a good night of sleep!) we headed to Baytown to spend the day with the McLendon side of the family. Will got to hunt even more Easter eggs, and play with his cousins!

And after all the excitement from Spring Break to Easter ... our sweet sleepy little boy this morning (he woke up at 5:55 so I brought him back into bed with me ~ he slept through me taking a shower, getting dressed, and drying my hair!)

Family News - Update!

We sold our house! Closing is set for April 15 ... now we are on the hunt for a new home! I am going to look tomorrow, so everyone say a prayer that we find the "perfect" home. Until we do find that home we will be gracing my parents with our presence at their house ..... it should be fun, and it will be a FULL HOUSE while we are there!

Thanks for all the prayers about the sale of our home. We are so blessed that our home was on the market for only 3 1/2 weeks!

Spring Break!

We had a fun filled extended weekend in Flint, TX with my parents. We relaxed, watched Patrick & my dad fish, and just hung out. Will also had his first trip to the zoo. We had a great time, although Will is not too crazy about road trips!

Hanging out on the pier watching Daddy & Pa fish!

Playing with Pa's hat while Daddy was grilling steaks.

The Flamingos at Caldwell Zoo in Tyler

Pointing at the birds

In the petting zoo with the goats

Deciding if he wants to pet the goats

Trying to touch the toucans

Standing in an elephants footprint!

In awe of the fish ... or as Will says, "Ish!"

A bath in the sink

His new cheese face ... I cannot get a normal picture anymore!

Feeding the ducks ... you should hear how he quacks, too funny!!

I thought he was going to get his first spanking here with these stairs! He could not stay away from them!
