Bathtime!
I think this is Will's favorite time of the day. We were doing really good with signing to Will, and have gradually just stopped...BUT the one sign I do every day is bath, and I really think he knows it! When I sign bath he always crawls over to me and climbs up me like he is ready!!

Growing like a weed!
I really think our little boy is going through quite a growth spurt. Sunday he napped wonderfully (3 hours altogether) and slept for close to 12 hours Saturday & Sunday night! He is also more active than ever before so that may have something to do with it as well. Here are some pictures from the past week and weekend....it is hard to keep up with everything being back at work!!!
Not too sure about that crooked smile?!?

Gotta love those baby blues!!

He would open the door if he could....Will loves being outside (and can you tell Riley doesn't? Please excuse the dirty, paw-print filled back door!!).

8 Months!
Always trying to stand!

Ready for bedtime!

Good morning, sunshine! Happy 8 month birthday!
Aren't the sleepy eyes precious?

Blowing raspberries at Mommy before we leave for the day!

My, how time flies! We have such a big boy on our hands...he is into everything these days! He crawls to what he wants and then pulls up on it (even if it should not be pulled up on). Will is Mr. Active these days!! Every month that passes he amazes us a little more; watching him turn into a little person is just so much fun!
His vocabulary these days is growing, as well. He has mastered the b, p, and d sounds along with many of the vowels. He is a talker, and is so funny when he gets started! He has also learned how to blow raspberries, and click his tongue and does both all the time.

Busy, busy
Our weekend, AND our littly boy, that is. We were going from the time we woke up Saturday morning, until right now on Sunday evening!!! We started with a relaxing Friday night -- we were all in bed before 9:00!
Trying to get out of my room!! The gate was for Riley, but now that Will is mobile, it does a great job of keeping him contained, too!

We got up Saturday, and Patrick & his Dad went riding, and Will & I went to see YaYa & Pa (my parents), and Nonnie & Poppy (my grandparents).
Getting ready to tell Daddy bye!

Saturday evening once we all got home, we decided to take Will to the park again since he had so much fun swinging last week (and Riley needs all the exercise he can get!) So we took a walk to the park, and played on the swings for a bit.
He LOVES it!!!

Sunday, Patrick & I decided we really needed to tackle the front yard as it had become a bit overgrown from all the rain lately, so we went to Lowe's for mulch and some new plants. We knew Will needed a nap once we got home so I took him in, and laid him down....and what do you know????
No nap, of course....

Patrick just put Will down, hopefully he sleeps all night cause Lord knows Mommy & Daddy need the rest.

What a big boy!
So, apparently Will has no real interest in crawling. It seems he'd much rather try to start walking....Yesterday we were playing in his room and he pulled himself up on his music table. So, when we were getting ready for Will's bath last night he wanted to play some more. After we stripped him down to his diaper we let him loose, and he went straight his music toy. Of course stood up! Look at our big boy!!

This morning he pulled up on his exersaucer, and when I picked him up from Mary's (the sitter) she asked me, "Is he standing at home too?" Once we got home he was everywhere, pulling up on his table, Riley's crate, all while dragging himself across the floor (he did crawl about 2 feet!). AND while he was SUPPOSED to be napping, I went to make sure he was asleep since it was really quiet, and low and behold, he was standing in his crib! I think life as we knew it is over, we have a mover on our hands!!!

Trip to the Park
This afternoon we decided to take a walk, and Patrick had a great idea to go to the park. So, we headed over to the park and Will got to swing for the first time! He ABSOLUTELY LOVED it!!! He laughed like Patrick & I have never heard him laugh before. We will definitely be making many more trips to the park, especially once it cools off.

Brushing Will's Teeth
Well, now that Will's bottom two teeth are finally completely grown in it is time to start brushing!! I got some baby toothpaste (safe to swallow, etc..) and Will actually liked it. I am sure he actaully wanted to play with the toothbrush, but he let me brush his teeth and was happy the whole time. He is so content, and really does not mind new things ... we are SO blessed!

Back to work...
Here are a couple pictures of Will's last week at home with Mommy. I am officially back at work. I miss my little boy every second I am away from him, and cannot wait to get home! I never knew being a Mommy would be like this!! We are so blessed!
Really, could he be any cuter?!?!

Will & his best friend! He lights up when he sees Riley!

Will's Play Date
My good friend, Susan has a son, Jude, who is about 3 months older than Will. They came over one evening last week so the boys could play (really, it was so me, Susan & Jennifer could get together before school started...but a play date sounds better!) The boys really hit it off! Jude LOVED Will's jumperoo, and he got a turn in it later that night.

Our big boy
So, if it was not already official, it now is .. . Our baby is not such a baby anymore. Patrick & I decided that since he is constantly trying to sit up when in his infant carrier we would try something new out. He sat in a high chair at a restaurant, this was BIG! He laughed and flirted with the waitress, and looked around at everything in complete awe!

6 months today!
Happy 6 Month Birthday Baby Boy!
I cannot believe that 6 months have already passed, and so quickly! Our little boy is changing constantly and turning into a big boy before our eyes! He babbles at us as if we are having conversations, he eats like a little adult and plays all day! These past 6 months have been an amazing time for Patrick & I. Watching our little boy grow is so much fun, and we cannot wait to see what else is to come!
We went to see Dr. Taylor for Will's 6 month appointment this morning and he is developmentally right on track! He is approximately 26 inches and 17.4 lbs (in the 50%tile for both). Dr. Taylor said she is very happy with how he is progressing and we won't see her again until his 9 month appointment!
Always a happy boy!

Will's new "toy" ~ there is an apple inside the mesh he can chew on.

Our big 6 month old on his 6 month "birthday"!!
